Muskie goaltending hopeful Cassie McLellan awaited a shot during the first night of tryouts at the Ice For Kids Arena yesterday. McLellan is one of three goalies in camp, along with incumbents Melissa Payne and Dana Cridland, while 28 players in total tried out. Hopefuls showcased their skating, puck-handling, and shooting skills last night, with the camp’s format to shift to intrasquad scrimmages when it continues tomorrow night. Head coach Mel Langtry is looking to select 17 players from camp.
