Kim Roy, left, Bev Thomson, Lindsay Strickland, Penny Hutton, Cheri Witherspoon, and Gina Wyder all gave big smiles after completing the annual 5K “Freeze Yer Gizzard Blizzard Run” on Saturday over in International Falls in conjunction with “Icebox Days.” Bill Michl of Fort Frances was the top local runner in the 5K event with a time of 22:16, then was second in the 10K distance at 46:02 behind Jake McTavish of Devlin (45:36).
