On behalf of the La Verendrye General Hospital (LVGH) Auxiliary, Judy Webster, right, presented the first “Palliative Comfort Care Bag” donation to Joelle Buist, Riverside’s patient experience and flo coordinator, on Monday. The bags are now available for hospital patients who are receiving comfort care support. The bags aim to make their stay as comfortable as possible with the reassurance that the LVGH Auxiliary, along with their care team, are there to support them through their most difficult time. The contents of each bag includes items such as hand-knit slippers, games, candy, and hygiene supplies.
