Brandon Sinclair and Harley Mainville went foot-to-foot during Muskie soccer tryouts last Wednesday afternoon at Fort High. Boys’ coach Shane Beckett was thrilled the team was able to practice outdoors, noting the team was forced to shovel snow off the pitches last year. Even with the snowy start, both the boys’ and girls’ squads captured NorWOSSA titles and will be looking to repeat in 2010. The boys’ season begins May 1 in Winnipeg while the girls kick off action here May 5.
