Riverside Foundation for Health Care director Bill Gushulak learned first-hand how a new lift and track for Rainycrest residents works last Wednesday as Kayla Caul-Chartier, director of resident care at Rainycrest, and Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29 Poppy Fund committee member Wendy Derendorf gave him a hand. The lift and track, which costs more than $4,000, was purchased thanks to local Legion poppy sales. Legion members will be distributing the poppies at various locations around town until Nov. 11.
