Firefighters put out a blaze in a garage at 627 Scott St this morning. No one was injured in the blaze, which was reported at 10 am, and was out shortly thereafter. A portion of the 600 block was closed as firefighters used large fans to clear the heavy smoke. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
