Greyson Maxton tried on a firefighter’s helmet while checking out a fire truck outside Canadian Tire here Saturday morning. The Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service was there with fire trucks, firefighting gear, giveaways, and more to mark “Fall Fire Safety Day” and kick off Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 8-14). This year’s theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!”
