The Nestor Falls Winter Carnival provided plenty of outdoor fun this past weekend. Kicking the event off was the annual Fishing Derby and a Snowmobile Scavenger Hunt on Saturday. Sunday saw skating and snowshoe racing in the morning, followed by the lumberjack competition at the Nestor Falls Hotel and the Nestor Falls Fire Rescue Service’s Polar Plunge across the highway at Northwest Flying Inc.
