The annual Remembrance Day Tea once again drew a large crowd yesterday from 2-4 p.m. upstairs at the local Legion, where the walls were adorned with old photos primarily featuring wartime veterans. Meanwhile, the downstairs clubroom was filled with baking, a candy table, cookie walk, sales of cabbage rolls, perogies, and meat pies, as well as the new “Pick-A-Poppy.” There also were numerous raffles and a 50/50 draw.
