Fort Frances Lakers’ forward Carter Chorney looked to fire a sharp-angled shot from the corner past Thief River Falls Norskies’ goalie Bailey Schmitz during the third period of the host team’s 7-3 loss here Friday night. Chorney did notch a goal but it wasn’t enough as the Lakers suffered their fifth-straight loss.
