Rainycrest resident Calvin Jourdain and Mary O’Connor, client services co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts, planted “Seeds of Hope” in the courtyard garden of the Special Care Unit there Friday afternoon. The “Forget Me Nots” they planted will bloom there perennially, not only beautifying the courtyard with blue flowers but reminding us to think of all individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.
