Dr. Michelle Daigle of the University of British Colombia (back centre) stood with the group of listeners at her presentation on indigenous food sovereignty held Friday at the Weechi-it-te-win office here. The presentation was a follow-up to area research she conducted in 2013 and 2014 by interviewing elders and attending community events to learn more about Anishinaabe food practices.
