Fort Frances High School students Emma Cole (foreground) and Lillie MacKinnon handed over a carnation to Katrina Slomke as the pair delivered “Flowers for Friends” to period 3 classes on Friday. The initiative, which allowed students to purchase a carnation for $2 and include a kind note for a friend, celebrated the Rainy River District School Board’s Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week. The FFHS Student Council sold more than 200 carnations.
