Fort Frances Power Corp. crews continued to make repairs at the southwest corner of Second Street East and Portage Avenue yesterday after a transport truck struck the pole in the early-morning hours of Friday. A new pole has been installed, and power to streetlights in that area has been re-established. But the traffic lights there likely will continue to be out, and the four-way stop signs in effect, until Thursday as the FFPC still has to splice cables for the traffic light controls starting tomorrow.
