Coun. Rick Wiedenheoft showed off the new signage at the St. Francis Sportsfields that pays tribute to long-time soccer volunteer Struchan Gilson, who passed away suddenly four years ago at the age of 63. The Struchan Gilson L. H. Soccer Pitches were dedicated in his name to recognize his dedication to the sport, evidenced by the nearly 20 years he committed to coaching the Muskie girls’ soccer team.
