Former Toronto Maple Leafs’ great Rick Vaive got fist bumps from the rest of the “Legends,” which included ex-NHL’ers Mike Krushelnyski, Trevor Kidd, Jocelyn Lemieux, and Dave McLlwain, as well as Canadian country music star Aaron Pritchett and some local players, after being introduced prior to last night’s charity game against a team comprised of local talent. L.A. Kings’ superstar Marcel Dionne, the sixth-highest scorer in NHL history with 1,771 points, acted as coach for the “Legends,” who wound up prevailing 7-5. A portion of the proceeds went to the Fort Frances Minor Hockey Association and the Fort Frances Girls’/Women’s Hockey Association.
