The duo of John Balaski and Chad Budde hit the water early this morning as part of the first flight launch that kicked off the 24th-annual Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship which runs today through Saturday. Balaski and Budde are one of 94 teams vying for the $20,000 first-place prize this year. Weigh-ins being at 3:30 p.m. both today and tomorrow, and then at 3 p.m. on Saturday under the big tent at the Sorting Gap Marina.
