Fort Frances Power Corp. staff surprised FFPC superintendent Steve Gagne with a special cake yesterday, in celebration of his retirement. Gagne has dedicated 40 years working for the Fort Frances Power Corp. (formerly the Fort Frances Public Utilities Commission). His last day on the job is today, where he’s working at the FFPC booth at the Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce’s home and leisure show. —Duane Hicks photo
