There was plenty on offer for families in the Rainy River District this past Family Day Monday, February 20, 2023. Couchiching First Nation held a multitude of events going on throughout the day at the Multi-Use Centre, while plenty of fun was to be had in Alberton at the Millennium Park. Meanwhile, the ice surfaces at the Memorial Sports Centre were in full use on Monday as plenty of shinny and free skate options were made available, including designated skate time sponsored by Weechi-It-Te-Win Family Services.
