Rainy Lake Oil over in International Falls was engulfed in flames Monday night. The fire was reported shortly after 7 p.m. and responded to by the Falls Fire Department, with mutual aid provided by Fort Frances and Littlefork fire departments and the Falls Airport. The fire was declared out as of 9 a.m. yesterday, and the scene turned over to the Minnesota State Fire Marshal for investigation. The warehouse, office facilities, one tractor, and trailer were deemed a complete loss but no one was injured. Rainy Lake Oil still is operating and has set up temporary offices in Shannon’s Square.
