Mitch Cain (#71) faced off against Ryan Sambray of the Fort William North Stars during the Fort Frances Jr. Sabres’ final pre-season game here yesterday afternoon. The North Stars won 5-1, keeping the hosts off the scoreboard before a goal with three minutes to play gave local fans something to cheer about.
