Couchiching First Nation historian Glenn Jourdain shared stories about his experience at one of the former residential schools in Fort Frances, St. Marguerite’s Indian Residential School, in a complementary exhibit on the second floor of the Fort Frances Museum. This exhibit features photos and documents obtained by Jourdain on both the former St. Marguerite’s school, which was closed in 1962, and the Fort Frances Indian Residential School, which ceased operations in 1974
