Yvonne Calloway, Alyssa Spence, and Karleigh Ford (front), Ryley Pollard, Hailey Clendenning, Chelsey Skirten, Jaipal Binder, and Lexi Caul (middle), and Dexter Fichuk (rear), members of the Environmental Club at J.W. Walker School, showed their spirit prior to the start of the Environmental Film Festival yesterday at the Townshend Theatre. Yesterday’s showing was specifically for primary students while one for the public goes tonight at 7 p.m. The Rainy River District School Board was one of four boards in Ontario selected to host a festival, which was made possible by a partnership between the Ontario Teachers’ Federation and the “Planet in Focus” international film festival that takes place in Toronto.
