Crews from Pioneer Construction began paving Central Avenue yesterday, and were expected to have the first lift of asphalt down by the end of today. The second, or top, lift of asphalt is expected to be done sometime next week. As well, the first phase of paving done last year on part of Central Avenue and the 100 blocks of Scott Street and Church Street has to be ground up and repaved.
