Residents of Emo were greeted with dozens of floats full of holiday cheer at the annual Holly Daze Christmas Parade held along Front Street in Emo on Friday, December 6, 2024. Businesses, organizations, emergency services and more took part in the parade, which was capped off by another visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus. Hot chocolate and cookies were available for those attending the parade to keep warm, and the whole evening was brought to a close with a colourful firework display. The annual Holly Daze sale event was held on Friday and again on Saturday, December 7, 2024, giving plenty of shoppers throughout the Rainy River District an excellent opportunity to get in some last minute gifts for their families and loved ones while helping to support local businesses.
