Eden Desjarlais held up the fabric she dyed at Community Living’s open air art studio last Tuesday. Those attending last weeks art studio learned about shibori dyeing, a traditional Japanese technique similar to tie-dyeing. The next open air art studio will run on Monday, Aug. 12 from 3-5:30 p.m. at McIrvine Park. The theme will be chromatography canvas art. The session is free, and all ages and abilities are welcome to attend.
