Jace Jackson, above, looked to check Jaxon Germain of the International Falls Broncos off of the puck during the second period of the Muskie boys’ hockey team’s 4-3 win in the finale of their annual two-game “Border Battle” exhibition series last Tuesday night at the Ice For Kids Arena. Below, Muskie forward Jacob Albright pounced on a loose puck that spilled out of International Falls Broncos’ goalie Mitchell Nemec’s glove. The Muskies overcame a two-goal deficit to pull out the win in front of over 700 fans at the local rink.
