Despite the cold and soggy conditions, Ria McPherson, left, and her daughter, Melissa, walked their dogs, “Shiloh” and “Jasper,” during the annual “Purina Walk for Dog Guides” here yesterday afternoon. Organized by the Fort Frances Voyageur Lions Club, the event brought in about $1,000 for dog guide training programs through the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides.
