The Winnipeg-based Dirty Catfish Brass Band gave audiences at the Townshend Theatre a rollicking good show last night as they performed as part of Tour de Fort’s annual season lineup. The musicians brought their New Orleans-style big band sound to the theatre in a show that had the audience cheering and dancing along. The band also had an afternoon show and Q&A session with students at Fort Frances High School. Tour de Fort’s next passport show, and final act of the 2024-25 season, will be Newfoundland band Rum Ragged on Thursday, April 24, 2025.
