Randy Carmody, of Mike Carmody Contracting, dug away just west of the intersection of Portage Avenue and Third Street East yesterday. Crews have moved on to tearing up the west end of the block today, with work proceeding east in the weeks to come. Wagner Construction Canada ULC, which has hired on several area subcontractors, is heading the project.
