Archaeological site work conducted this week at the plot of land located just east of the Fort Frances Courthouse did not turn up any findings, such as native or heritage artifacts. Timmins Martelle Heritage Consultants Inc. was hired by the Ontario Realty Corp. to conduct testing at the site as part of the provincial environmental assessment process, just in case the site should ever be developed in the future.
