It takes an army of volunteers to make a community event like the Christmas Dinner a success, and this year’s event at the Knox United Church saw a outswelling of support from both volunteers and the public. Above, the line of those willing to serve food was well staffed with V.I.V.’s (Very Important Volunteers) and helped visitors like John Pohanka, below left, to a plate with all the fixings. After having their dinner, visitors could visit Katelin and Peggy Matthews, below right, at the dessert table to put a sweet finish on a comforting and filling meal.
