Fort Frances Fire and Rescue and other emergency personnel responded to a derailed railcar in the mill train yard earlier this afternoon, and were hosing it down. The railcar appears to have leaked hydrogen peroxide. While Central Avenue is blocked to traffic this afternoon, the situation must not have been deemed hazardous as nearby businesses and residents were not evacuated.
