Helen Crook was among about 20 residents who voiced concerns about the increasing number of deer in Fort Frances at last night’s council meeting following a presentation by MNR area supervisor Jeff Wiume and biologist Melissa Mosley. But aside from individual residents taking action to protect their properties, only a severe winter likely will curb the deer proliferation in the near future.
