In recognition of her 15 years of service with the Royal Canadian Legion Br. #29, Alfreda Easton, left, received a pin from Colleen Moran, program lead with the Ontario Honours and Awards Secretariat of the Ministry of Citizenship and Immigration, during the 2017 Ontario Volunteer Service Awards ceremony Friday evening at La Place Rendez-Vous. A total of 21 district residents were recognized for a total of 286 years of volunteerism, although only a handful were there in person.
