Michael Weisgerber and Angie Tester, who hail from Manitoba, ran the final leg of the “Dash 4 Diabetes” on the trails on Rocky Inlet on Saturday. About 100 people attended the event, which also included a 1K run, lunch, and a presentation by local youth with diabetes. More than $2,800 was raised through donations for the “Community Chest,” to be specifically used for people afflicted with the disease.
