The Fort Frances Sports Hall of Fame will be honouring the late Danny Johnson, who played in both the NHL and WHA, at its upcoming inductee ceremony and banquet. Johnson was chosen team captain in his last year with the WHA’s Winnipeg Jets. He also played for three teams in the NHL: The Vancouver Canucks, Detroit Redwings and Toronto Mapleleafs.
Johnson is among nine inductees entering the Fort Frances Sports Hall of Fame on August 13, 2022 at La Place Rendezvous. To learn more about Johnson and the other inductees, plan to attend the banquet. Tickets are on sale now at Taggs Source for Sports. Don’t delay – they’re expected to sell out.
