Cindy Manty, left, looked on as Natalie Armstrong of Simplicity cut off the long locks of Juanita Hunter-Connon, who raised about $500 for Manty after she was diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Breast Cancer in January. Manty has since had the cancer removed but will be starting a treatment plan in the next few weeks. With medication that is very costly, Manty is thrilled by the support from her friends. Simplicity Professional Hair and Body Care also is collecting donations for Manty at the salon to help her in her fight against breast cancer. Every donation counts for an entry into a draw for a gift basket, which will be drawn on May 9.
