Eli Hart, from Coratina Construction Ltd. of Thunder Bay, “broomed” concrete poured for new curbing along Central Avenue yesterday. A layer of asphalt is expected to be laid down next week while interlocking bricks will be laid down for the sidewalk. Depending on the weather, the work on Central Avenue and the 100 block of Scott Street is expected to be wrapped up by mid-October, at which time the road will reopen. A second phase of work will start in the spring.
