Minnesota Wilderness captain Mike Dietrich recieved the Bill Salonen Cup from SIJHL commissioner Ron Whitehead at the ’52 Canadians Arena last night after his team clinched their third-straight league title with a 3-2 double-overtime win in Game 6 of the final over the Fort Frances Lakers. Dietrich, named the SIJHL’s regular-season MVP, later was awarded the league’s playoff MVP accolade for his performance in the post-season.
