Grace George, in the JK class at St. Michael’s School, held a baby chick yesterday as the students welcomed their new cuddly friends to the world. With the eggs having been incubated in the classroom for the past three weeks, the youngsters were thrilled to learn 10 chicks had hatched as of yesterday, with a few more yet to come. The students, dressed like farmers for the day, celebrated the occasion with ice cream sundaes in the afernoon.
