Local EMS supervisor Ed Carlson demonstrated basic CPR during a public training clinic yesterday afternoon at the Memorial Sports Centre. The event also was used to officially announce the distribution of 20 Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) to public locations across the district thanks to a partnership between the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, Ontario Trillium Foundation, and the Rainy River District Social Services Administration Board.
