Copenace and her daughter, Carissa, leave for Winnipeg today to fly to Toronto for the city’s inaugural Indigenous Fashion Week. The mother-daughter duo said their runway look is a new “contemporary indigenous day-wear for women reflecting the strength and resilience of Anishinaabe women.”
