Nancy Daley Fulton handed Linda Plumridge a “convo plate” at the Fort Frances Times’ office earlier this month in conjunction with Mental Health Week. They are small ceramic plates that aim to spark conversations about mental health. Once someone receives the plate, they pass it on to a friend. There are hundreds of these plates in circulation and many have travelled around the world. The plate pictured here had not left Fort Frances yet but Plumridge planned to send it to a friend in the U.S.
