Nearly 300 residents from across Rainy River District packed the Barwick Hall last night to support Paul and Susan Peters, owners of Sunrise Meat and Sausage there, and to hear an update about the condemned meat at their plant. Another hearing with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs has been scheduled for tomorrow, so the meat will not be rendered any earlier than Monday.
