Barb Marr pulled up loops on the “summer” panel of the “What Hooks You Here?” community rug-hooking project yesterday at the Fort Frances Public Library Technology Centre. A long-time cross-stitcher, Marr made the leap to rug-hooking and has worked on the project from the start. Meanwhile, 15 members of local Beta Sigma Phi—Alpha Mu sorority chapter also tried their hands at the rug-hooking project yesterday evening. Groups are encouraged to work on the project, with those interested asked to contact Judy Kielczewski (274-7120) or Debbie Ballard (274-3520).
