The front of the old Rainy Lake Hotel started to crumble in spectacular fashion Friday afternoon. A significant amount of demolition progressed over the weekend, leaving only the ground floor standing as of Monday morning. The Rainy Lake Hotel was built in 1928 and closed in 2005.
