Ava Olson and Madeleine Bottomley are Grade 4 students at St. Mary School who are learning to code using a Micro:bit. As part of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals project, the girls will be learning to create and program a device that monitors soil humidity that they will then use to grow tomatoes from seeds that have spent time on the International Space Station. –Submitted photo
