Due to the rainy conditions, the Canadian Mental Health Association flag was presented inside the Civic Centre by Fort Frances deputy mayor Wendy Brunetta and CMHA staff and clients yesterday morning. It later was hoisted outside to mark the beginning of Mental Health Week, which runs until May 13. This year, the CMHA is focusing on common misconceptions of mental health to show it is “more than mental illness–[it is] a state of well-being.”
