Lisa Penner, left, and Kris Sinclair had their brooms blistering the ice in high-speed fashion during the final of The Dominion Curling Club Championship women’s club playdowns here Tuesday. Penner and Sinclair, along with Teresa McFayden, were part of defending provincial champion Kathie Jackson’s victorious rink, which downed Kim Beaudry 7-3 in six ends to clinch their spot in the regional playdowns Feb. 6-9 in Atikokan. Jackson’s husband, Lorne, will represent Fort Frances in the men’s division at the regionals.
